Adventure #2

Following a two night stay in Elizabeth, NJ, we headed for pickup at JFK Airport, in Jamaica, NY. At our pickup we got shafted!

Our cargo was a shaft, headed for Pratt & Whitney, in East Hartford, CT.

Following delivery at Pratt & Whitney, we had some free time. So, we had to head across the street to......

WOW!!! What a place. Unbelievable all of the stuff for the outdoorsfolks.

While strolling through the store, we came to an aquarium, with some large and interesting fish.

This one seemed to come to the glass, just for the picture!

More strolling, and we came across this critter...

.....yeah, buddy!

Before returning to our truck, we headed outside, to the front of the store, where a Cabela person was preparing "beer-can" chicken, only that day she was using pop (or soda, for some of you'ns), instead of beer. We hung around and got to sample some tasty chicken.

After some sack time in the sleeper, we went for a walk around the Cabela grounds (a little exercise, Pastor Jan).

And that folks, was Adventure #2.

Blog 'ya later.
